Jitka Filipi has been in the wellness industry for over two decades. She has been helping people to set the right path in wellness so they can live the life they want and focus their energy on well-being
What brought her here was the first moment when she found out that she was pregnant. It was that moment that changed her life. She changed her diet and became active. After giving birth, she had a much faster recovery and more energy to take care of her newborn son. She wanted to share her story with everyone because she wanted everyone to feel as amazing as she did. It was the first time that the idea of becoming a personal trainer came to her and a few years later she was training and helping people to turn their lives around too.
During her travels, one of her absolute favorite places was Bali. She has fallen in love with the Tibetan Singing Bowl Massage and Sound Bath there. The relaxing sound and vibration are a powerful way of letting go and simultaneously healing your body and mind. This feeling has inspired her to learn more about it. She has completed the full course of her study with “Inner World” in Bali and become a Tibetan singing bowls therapist. This experience also led her to become a massage therapist.
She has a college degree in Massage Therapy from the Pacific College of Health and Science where she specializes in Swedish, Pre-Natal Massage, and Lymphatic drainage. She has also graduated from AAPT (American Academy of Personal Training). She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Training Children, Pre and Post Natal Training as well as training Active Aging Adults.
She has completed the Science & Art of Herbalism, an intensive program with Rosemary Gladstar in the didactic, therapeutic, laboratory, and fieldwork of Herbalism.
She loves exploring the great outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking. Gardening, and cooking are also two passions that bring immense joy to her life.
I’m Dr. Aleisha Taylor! I am originally from Michigan but I have been visiting Chapin since 2006 when family began moving to the area.
I have a wonderful family, including my three littles, age 6 and under! We also have a sweet dog named Sadie. We love spending time outdoors, traveling and doing projects around the house together.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University and my Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. I am a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and continue education in topics of family wellness to better serve our community.
My journey to become a chiropractor started with exploring different health related careers-I knew I wanted to be able to help people and make a difference in my community. After working in a pharmacy through high school and into college, I thought I wanted to become a pharmacist. I quickly realized that our customers were coming back filling the same prescriptions and over time their refill lists were growing. In my opinion, if these people were getting well, their refill list would be shrinking and eventually become non-existent. I continued to explore other options and eventually landed a job in a chiropractic office. Here, I saw people coming off of medications, decreasing illness frequency, avoiding surgeries and getting out of pain! This was the better way to live life that I knew existed but just hadn’t found yet! Off to chiropractic school I went!
I am looking forward to helping you and your family live a radiant life, brighter than you thought possible.
